Lisa Grudzielanek, MS, RD, CD, CDE
Lisa Grudzielanek, (with that kind of last name she has always been known to her friends and patients simply as “Lisa G.”) specializes in integrative nutrition, a client centered, nutritional healing oriented approach that focuses on the whole person and lifestyle. Consideration is given to all the unique factors that influence health, wellness and disease, including body, mind, spirit and community. Her motto, “Keep it Real, Keep it Simple” is based on her passion to provide simplified nutrition education with simple strategies to accomplish real results through the use of real foods.
She graduated from Mount Mary College, with a Bachelors of Science in Dietetics and University of Bridgeport with a Masters of Science in Human Nutrition. Lisa is registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration to practice as a Registered Dietitian (RD), certified by the state of Wisconsin to practice as a Certified Dietitian (CD), certified by the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators as a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) and completed a Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management from the Commission of Dietetic Registration. She holds several professional group memberships including the Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine practice group.
For more than 10 years Lisa was a highly respected dietitian who worked for a large healthcare organization in Milwaukee counseling individuals, teaching group classes, a preceptor to students, conducted speaking engagements, wrote articles for local papers and had regular media appearances on local TV. However, in 2012, Lisa knew it was time to spread her wings and offer a line of services and nutritional guidance she could not offer in a traditional Western Medicine establishment. Thus, she launched her own nutrition business, Lisa G. Nutrition, LLC and joined the practitioners at Integrative Family Wellness Center.
Lisa’s mission is to translate the science of nutrition into practical steps and solutions toward healthier living. She is dedicated to showing people how to eat well, to be well. Lisa’s nutritional specialties include clean eating, weight release, metabolic disorders (diabetes, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome), cardiovascular nutrition, digestive health, gluten intolerance/gluten-free, anti-inflammatory nutrition, emotional eating and optimizing overall wellness.
