Beginning in March, the doctors of Integrative Family Wellness Center will be available to answer any question you may have about Integrative Medicine. We have a separate phone line set up for anyone to call and leave a message and a provider will get back to you by the end of the following business day. We will not be offering free medical advice, but will give callers opportunities to find out what steps can be taken to overcome your health problems and address other general questions.

Unlimited Plan For Acupuncture

Integrative Family Wellness Center is now offering unlimited Acupuncture plans for $250 a month. A patient deciding to do unlimited acupuncture will be charged for 2 separate monthly charges of $250 each. On average, an acupuncture patient can pay over $1200 a month. Treatment plans are determined by the provider giving the service. If the patient choosing the unlimited plan is a new patient, there will be a separate fee for the exam. Unlimited plans start on the 1st and/or 15th of each month and will automatically be charged for subsequent months. A plan started on the 1st of the month is valid from the 1st through the last day of that month. A plan started on the 15th of the month is valid from the 15th through the 14th of the following of the month. Each patient choosing to do unlimited plans must sign a separate consent form and must give a one month notice to cancel the plan.

Shot for Tots & FM 106.1

On Saturday November 27th, we were privileged to be part of the first annual “Shots for Tots” promotion in the Milwaukee area. The event was put on by FM 106.1. Our clinic offered free B12, echinacea and preservative free flu shots with the donation of any toy. It was a great chance to offer an alternative to the flu and H1N1 shots that are always being recommended to the general public. Here are some picture from the event. We look forward to next year!

Here is some basic info on gluten: GLUTEN SENSITIVITY AND CELIAC DISEASE SYMPTOMS

We test in our office for gluten sensitivity by doing an Adrenal Stress Index, Saliva Test. In that test, it detects the antibody to the protein Gliadin, which is the protein found in gluten. If your body is sensitive to Gluten, it will start to form an antibody against it. This a great test and is non-invasive.
