Nurse Practitioner

A Family Nurse Practitioner is a registered Nurse who has advanced training with either a Masters or Doctoral Degree.  As a Nurse Practitioner I am licensed to treat common and complex health problems.  This includes assessment, diagnosis and treatment of these conditions.  I can write prescriptions and order specific lab and diagnostic tests to aid in the treatment of these conditions.   A Nurse practitioner spends a great deal of time in the education process of her patients and their families. My Goal as a Nurse Practitioner is to help you achieve wellness.  My main focus is on health promotion and wellness and disease prevention.  I utilize a holistic, integrative approach in helping the patient and family to achieve the process.
